This unit features a permanent metal frame, as well as a strong but flexible cable in order to connect to the included amplifier. The amp has a strong metal case to resist damage, and provides controls, including balance, on/off, a battery indicator, volume control and more. A headphone jack is located on the front panel of the amplifier. The amplifier can be easily paired with external recording devices. Input sensitivity is improved with a special compressor, as well as low-noise amplifiers.
